The UK FAME team brought some serious boundary-pushing style to Hair Expo’s Main Stage this year, featuring explosive colour with a thought provoking message.
The Fellowship Academy of Merit and Excellence (FAME) is an annual initiative that was created to nurture, encourage and promote an elite group of young, up-and-coming hairdressers in all aspects of the industry. Offering unique exposure and platforms for future stardom, the FAME Team is the UK hairdressing industry’s original, and still the best, independent launch platform for young creative stylists.
The UK FAME Team 2019, mentored by ANTI Collective Global Creative Director Nick Irwin, presented their new collection ‘DIVERSIFY’ on Hair Expo’s Main Stage over the June long weekend, touching on the individuality of social and creative progression. The team brought their unique take on their cultural awareness, a social progression that exhibits everything they stand for as a new breed of hairdresser.
The session was characterised by bold colour, eye-catching prints, and vivid hues, encompassing a truly unique look that held the attention of eager audiences. The bold hair and makeup of the models encapsulated the notion of gender fluidity and equality, representing the progression and innovation of the next generation of hairdressers across the globe.
