It’s safe to say Olaplex has revolutionized the hair industry since its inception in 2014. The bond repair and maintenance giant was once saved for salons, with Olaplex No. 1 Bond Multiplier and No. 2 Bond Perfector being applied as after-colour protein treatments to lock in colour and maintain the hair’s integrity, or for natural hair to strengthen strands and prevent breakage.
The release of at-home treatment No. 3 Hair Perfector and No. 4 & No. 5 Bond Maintenance Shampoo & Conditioner, was a serious game changer, allowing us to incorporate this line of liquid gold in to our regular haircare regimens.
Olaplex has become a household name and is on tips of everyone’s hair from Jennifer Aniston, Chrissy Teigen, Kaley Cuoco, Ashley Tisdale, Khloe Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, and Gwyneth Paltrow, just to name a few.
Olaplex has been hailed as a hair savior, so when we heard they were launching a leave-in treatment to combat frizz, Olaplex No. 6 Bond Smoother, we were understandably ecstatic.
The latest at-home product will hit salons this May, with exclusive take home packs available from Haircare Australia at stand H125 over the Hair Expo long weekend.
So, what does Olaplex No. 6 do?
Olaplex No. 6 is a concentrated, leave-in, reparative styling crème, with the proven ability to eliminate frizz, hydrate and protect hair. Perfect for all hair types including natural and coloured hair, it defines and smooths natural curls and eliminates frizz and flyaways for up to 72 hours.
The leave-in smoothing crème strengthens, moisturises and speeds up blow dry times, while also smoothing the hair to achieve a sleek look without the need of a flat iron.
It is completely colour safe, and is made without sulfates, parabens and phthalates. It’s even vegan, gluten-free and nut-free!
Olaplex’s latest offering will be available in a 100ml bottle and can be used professionally as an in-salon treatment as well as at home.
Be sure to get yours at Hair Expo 2019.
