muk Haircare has released a new range of 14 semi-permanent colours for hair professionals. The Vivid Direct Dyes offer a completely intermixable and customisable line of hair colours, developed by colourists.
The 13 vivid shades and one pastel clear are enriched with conditioners to maintain shine, softness and strength in the hair. The Vivid Direct Dye range will appeal to ethically-minded hair professionals and their clients; with benefits including being vegan, PETA-approved, and free from ammonia, parabens and PPD.
Mark Gariglio, Co-Founder and Director of muk Haircare, said the launch of muk’s new vivid range was the next step in offering a full-service colour product range for professionals.
“Since we launched professional colour, my goal was to expand our range and offer colourists with a full spectrum professional palette, from grey coverage to blondes, men and now vivid colour. Vivid muk Direct Dye is like no other on the market. For the very first time, advanced micro-pigment technology is introduced to direct colour. This enables a complete and even saturation of colour with less susceptibility to porosity. No more patchy or uneven results that are often seen with other brands of direct dye. The future is Vivid muk Direct Dye.”
A launch campaign featuring a selection of the new shades was undertaken by Brooke & Peanut from Razor Dolls in Melbourne; and muk Global Artistic Director, Clive Allwright. The campaign was conceptualised to illustrate the wearability of the colour for those who “dare to stand out”.
