The 2018 L’Oreal Professionnel Colour Trophy kicked off this week, with 25 of Victoria’s most talented colourists competing live on stage at the Melbourne Semi-Final, held at Carousel on Albert Park Lake. The live looks were judged by a panel of esteemed judges, including Damien Rinaldo, Frank Apostolopoulos, Matt Clements, and Justin Pace.
And the finalists are…
Congratulations to Courtney Treyvaud and Lyndal Salmon of Biba Academy, Danni Solier of Xiang Hair, and Jaki Dimasi of Ruby Hair Design, who were announced as finalists for the Colour Trophy Award; and Alex Cordell of Rakis on Collins who took out the finalist spot for the Rising Star Award.
These four talented hair colourists will proceed to the national 2018 L’Oreal Professionnel Colour Trophy Grand Finale event in February.
L’Oréal Professionnel Australia General Manager, Olga Zanetti, said, “The live atmosphere… was electric and the perfect way to kick off the Colour Trophy 2018 semi-final series in Australia. We witnessed some exceptional technical skills and the creation of beautifully unique looks. Congratulations to our four finalists for their engaging and fashion-forward colour work, and thank you to all participants for making it such a dynamic event experience.”
