With just under four weeks remaining for entries to be submitted for the 2019 Hair Expo Awards (deadline: 20 March!), our Head Judge and Awards Ambassador, Julie Piantadosi, is sending a message to prospective entrants.
Last-minute entrants – there’s still a chance to showcase your passion and skill!
Our new Master Cutter of the Year category is open to hairdressers at any stage of their career and celebrates the art of exceptional haircutting. If you’re new to the awards, this is a GREAT option to ease your way into the program, with only three creative collection images required in your submission and no written entry, should you become a finalist!
It’s important to note that no wefts, wigs, extensions, hairpieces or any other materials can be used in your collection for this category – this one really is all about the hair.
Using a previously published collection to enter the awards
For most creative categories in the Hair Expo Awards, you may also be unaware that we allow you to submit images from another collection that’s been published elsewhere, provided some changes have been made. Just make sure you read up on the specific category conditions you must meet before you submit your entry. We’ve made this rule to make it easier for you to showcase your work to the world, and we encourage you to take advantage of it!
If you have any questions, or just need a bit of extra support, our Awards Ambassador is here to help. Contact Julie at: firstname.lastname@example.org or 0431 577 969.
The final awards deadline is Wednesday 20 March, so it’s time to get those entries in and show us your Golden Touch!
