D&M Hair Design, home of Hair Expo New Zealand Hairdresser of the Year 2017 & 2016 Danny Pato, has raised a whopping $28,000 for children’s charity KidsCan.
Danny and salon co-founder Michael Sisaengrath selected 30 images from D&M’s collection archives, which were then turned into large-scale framed one-off prints by PCL imaging and auctioned for the charity. The initiative was in celebration of D&M’s tenth anniversary.
“For all the love and generosity we’ve received in our 10 years, it was so important for us to give back too – and what better way to do it than to support NZ’s next generation through KidsCan.” – Danny Pato
KidsCan received 100 per cent of the sale price of the prints, which will go toward supporting the important work that the organisation carries out in 700 schools around New Zealand. KidsCan supplies children in low-decile schools with necessities and educational assistance.
