The Australian Hairdressing Council (AHC) will embark on its national Heads Up tour next week, kicking off in Newcastle on Monday 19 February.
The roadshow is comprised of two sessions – a daytime option designed for salon owners, and an evening presentation curated for the entire team. On the 2018 agenda is AHC CEO Sandy Chong, who will present on thinking differently in business to gain a competitive advantage in the industry during “Heads up on thinking differently in business”.
Melanie Else, psychologist and founder of She Got Happy, will present on positive psychology in “Heads up on strengthening your happy advantage”, a session designed to foster a happier, more engaged and better-performing team.
And Sommer Louise, a wellbeing educator, will speak about how hairdressers can ensure they feel healthy, inspired, empowered and successful in “Heads up on energising yourself and your environment”.
Day sessions are priced at $249, with evening sessions at $39 per staff member. The tour will begin in Newcastle (19 Feb) before heading to Canberra (26 Feb), Melbourne (5 March), Perth (12 March), Brisbane (19 March), Darwin (20 March), Sydney (26 March), Hobart (14 May), and Adelaide (21 May).
