Alterna hosted a lavish soiree for Schwarzkopf Professional salon partners and beauty trade media on Tuesday 11 September aboard a Clearview Glass Boat to mark the launch of the Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging range in Australia. The Alterna brand provides a luxury retail option for salons within the Schwarzkopf Professional network.
During the evening cruise aboard the three-storey vessel, which made a leisurely loop around Sydney Harbour, guests were treated to Moet Champagne, a three-course dinner, bespoke cocktails, and caviar tastings led by Josh Rea, Director of Gourmet Life, one of Australia’s premium caviar importers.
Alterna’s Education Manager Patrick Fitzpatrick quizzed Josh on the different styles of caviar, and its emergence as an ingredient in beauty products across premium haircare and skincare; in-line with Alterna’s “haircare inspired by skincare” ethos.
A special fireworks display on Sydney Harbour kicked off the party; followed by an introduction to the new brand campaign during dinner from General Manager of Schwarzkopf Professional and Alterna ANZ, David Hahn. A DJ got the dancefloor moving after dinner as guests sipped on bespoke Alterna cocktails, including Caviar Martinis.
The new-look Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging range will launch in salons from 1 October, and in Sephora from 1 November. Alterna is distributed professionally in Australia via Schwarzkopf Professional.
